A Space for Me (and u)

 Welcome to my first blog post,

I’m excited to start this and share my thoughts, ideas, and experiences. Writing has always intrigued me, and I think this is a great place to express myself and connect with others. I hope to make blogging a regular thing since it feels like such a fun and creative way to communicate :3

First of all, I’d like to use this little space as a brief introduction about myself. My name is Astrid, I’m a Venezuelan girl currently living in Spain. I’m 16 years old and in a couple of weeks I’ll be turning 17! Although I’m not really that excited because I’ve always felt birthdays are just another day, but my reason for starting this blog is to entertain myself and have something to share with you all.

Putting that aside, I really love animals. Since I was little, I’ve dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and taking care of every living being out there.

Another thing I really like is drawing. Thanks to my mom, who taught me how to color and draw from a very young age, I’ve done all kinds of drawing — watercolor, acrylic, traditional, and even digital. But over time, I’ve put it aside because of lack of time, though I come back to this hobby from time to time, hehe. (-ω-;)

I’ve also participated in dance events and K-pop covers. My love for dancing started because of K-pop; it’s something I’ve never stopped doing since 2020. I’m always dancing! I love it so much more than you can imagine.

I have a little kitty who I never managed to name because I was so young and I never thought I’d be allowed to have a pet. I thought he wouldn’t last with me, but he just turned 9 years old and is still here, and now he’s just called “Kitty” 😭😭

I really love stuffed animals!

I listen to a bit of everything; I love music because it’s the only thing that can free me from all anxiety. My music taste is really diverse, I can listen to anything from K-pop to R&B. Some of my favorite artists and bands are:

I have a hobby I’ve kept as a habit for three years now, which is journaling. I absolutely love making collages and writing a lot about my thoughts.
